I've been making photgraphs since watching my first print appear in the darkroom tray as a boy.

The process is different now but the magic is still the same. Some of my artist friends think photography isn't a true 'art'. That nothing is created by the photographer in the way that other artists create. Others say that digital manipulation takes away from 'true' photography.  Or that it's no more than a craft, like making shoes.

In the end what does it matter, art or craft - it gives me great pleasure to make and show these images.
